Banana and honey ice cream
(Para receta en Español desplaza hacia abajo)
When I was a child my mom used to make me sliced banana with drizzled honey for breakfast Although my kids love bananas sometimes they just get tired of it! I'm always like "If you are hungry between meals you can grab a banana..." so I decided to jazz up the recipe a bit by turning it into an ice cream. It's so simple to make and totally natural and healthy, and you will be amazed how similar the texture is to real ice cream, only without all the chemicals. I am now the "Cooler" mom for feeding my kids ice cream for breakfast!
Ingredients:
3 over-ripe bananas
1 tablespoon honey
150 milk
1 teaspoon stevia
a pinch of cinammon
Slice the bananas (the smaller the better) and leave them in the freezer overnight.
The next day take the frozen banana slices and put them in a blender together with the other ingredients. Blend everything until all the bananas have become pulp (you may need to add more milk depending on how strong your food processor is, or blend in smaller batches).
Put the ice cream back in the freezer for a couple of hours and then enjoy!
